Owen Sound

This round-trip tour departs from the boat launch south of Kelso Beach. We’ll navigate the Sydenham River through downtown Owen Sound before heading out onto the Bay and a stopover at one of the Scenic City’s beautiful beaches.

We’ll introduce you to the Sydenham and Pottawatomi watersheds, and dig into Owen Sound’s history as a maritime gateway to all the great ports of the Great Lakes.

Discover Owen Sound’s original name, the area’s important place in Underground Railroad history and brush up on your Canadian art trivia by learning about Tom Thomson, and his history in Leith.

This tour is available as a 1.5 or 2.5 hour experience.
